Amy returns with more than 17 years of experience advising organizations on senior technology searches. Her focus will be on CTO and CPO appointments, working closely with boards and CEOs as they think about what they need from technology leadership in a period of rapid change.
Amy’s remit is essential as AI becomes more deeply embedded across the enterprise businesses, expectations of technology leaders are changing. Boards are looking for executives who can contribute to business strategy and help organizations make better decisions about where technology can create long-term value.
For Kevin Williamson, Founder of Parker Remick, Amy’s return comes at the right time.
“Technology leadership has never carried greater responsibility than it does today. Every board is evaluating how AI, product innovation and engineering capability will shape the future of its business. That changes what organizations expect from technology leaders and it changes how we advise our clients. Amy has spent her career helping companies solve exactly those leadership challenges, and we’re delighted to welcome her back to Parker Remick.”
Amy previously spent several years with Parker Remick before broadening her experience within the venture capital ecosystem at Lightspeed.
During that time, she worked closely with founders and CEOs as they built engineering and product leadership teams, giving her another perspective on how technology organizations are changing and what businesses increasingly need from senior leaders.
For Amy, returning to Parker Remick was also about the way the firm approaches search.
“What brought me back was Parker Remick’s unwavering focus on quality. Our incentives are aligned with helping clients make exceptional leadership decisions, not simply filling roles. That allows us to think like CEOs and board members, understanding the business challenges they’re trying to solve before we ever begin discussing candidates.”
That approach has always been central to Parker Remick’s work. Rather than treating each search as an isolated assignment, we work with clients to understand what the business actually needs from the role, then build the search around that challenge.
Amy has already led searches across engineering, product and enterprise technology leadership for major technology businesses and public companies. Her return strengthens that capability at a time when many organizations are reassessing what technology leadership should look like.
“At a time when every company is redefining its AI strategy and technology leadership has never been more important, I believe that partnership mindset matters more than ever.”
We’re excited to have Amy back and to see the impact she will have as we continue helping companies make some of their most important technology leadership decisions.
